Stolen from delSHARK which she created three years ago, I decided to make one of these of my own. The purpose is to discuss how you originated the names of your characters.
Nutty the Squirrel: He's a squirrel, he eats acorns, which are basically nuts. Not to mention "nutty" is a fancy word for "crazy". You should know that by now.
Pikin: Surinamese word for "little" or "children". The word is also related to the pidgin word "pickaninny"
Dandellion: One of the pikin familes' surnames; Reath's family for instance. Pikins usually name surnames after a plant or a tree. Dandellion is, of course, named after a flower. This family is as followed:
Reath: He started out as a rip-off of Wiz from D.N.Angel (as shown here), and during the time of his creation, Wiz was usually named as "Wizu" or most yet "With" before the english version of the manga/anime was released. Reath is a different, cheap pronunciation of With.
Saloma: Searched from many baby names websites; Hebrew name meaning "peace"
Dolly: Searched from many baby names websites; American name meaning "cute child"
Renny: Searched from many baby names websites; Irish and Gaelic name meaning "small and mighty"
Randy: Reath's fatass twin brother. Named after Ethan Suplee's character Randy Hickey from the NBC show "My Name Is Earl"
Emily Bee: I wanted a simple name for her. The name Emily just randomly came into my head one day. And basically, she's a "Bee".
Fido: Random dog name for Nutty's pet blob that acts like a dog.
Angel: Jack's old name back in the days when he was a lame-ass Megaman Maverick/Reploid ripoff and a human wearing that overrated Matrix trenchcoat outfit. Named after my old usernames which were "AngelHunter", "AngelHunterZero", and "DarkAngel".
Jack: I needed to change Angel's name because it was such a stupid name for him. Jack randomly came into my head and it seemed to fit will with the character, and that's how he got the name.
Jack Cottontail: An obvious parody of Peter Cottontail with Jack's name thrown in.
Angel Cottontail: Just like Jack Cottontail back when Jack was named Angel.
Jackster: Just like the same issue that led me to change Angel's name to Jack, DarkAngel/DarkAngelX/DarkAngelWhatever was a stupid noobish name to go by. So by 2004, I was known elsewhere as Jackster, named after my character Jack.
Jackster E. Mouse: See that mouse on my header? That's actually a character based on me. Or as people are calling it now, my "fursona". It's basically the name Jackster with a cartoonish feel to it. The E inital stands for Emerson, my real middle name.
Retro: A word meaning "old-fashioned", which is what my MuMu character Retro is; he's an old-fashioned person from the 1980s.
Mac Ridgewell: Retro's real name. I'm not sure where Ridgewell came from, but the name Mac came from the 80s band Fleetwood Mac.
Skippy: Comet's old name back when he was a MuMu dog that resembles a yellow lab. Just a randomly picked dog's name.
Comet: Named after the golden retriever on Full House.
Yuka and Yuki (Gemini): I believe Yuka and Yuki were randomly picked Japanese names that are just pronouced slightly the same. Gemini because there are two of them.
AngelHunter, AngelHunterZero, DarkAngel(X) and whatnot: I don't even want to know where the hell these names came from.
